Register now to become an NRA Rifle Instructor and NRA Range Safety Officer (RSO)

While this course is a certified NRA Rifle Instructor Course, the instruction will be youth oriented.

Location: The NRA Rifle Instructor course will be at Wooten Lodge at Lost Pines on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The program will begin on Friday at 6:30 pm and end at 10:00 pm. On Saturday we will again meet at Wooten Lodge at Lost Pines Scout Reservation at 8:30 am and end around 10:00 pm. On Sunday we will begin again around 8:30 am and end around 5:00 pm.  The range portion will be at the Lost Pines Rifle Range. You must be present for all of the training in order to become certified.

Included in the course fees are all books and supplies, Shooting Sports T Shirt, Meals will be included on Saturday and Sunday.  You must be pre-registered to attend.

By becoming an NRA certified rifle instructor and range safety officer (RSO) each participant is requested to commit to helping at least once each year with either a Council, Troop or Venture shooting sports activity.
